h2c
is a simple 'Artificial Intelligence' Chat program (Freeware)
based on string-recognition, that seeks to pass the Turing
test. Turing, a great British scientist & cryptographer
during WW II, postulated that if one could not tell, by 'chatting'
with a computer, that it was a computer, then that computer
could be said to be 'intelligent'.
Though
h2c doesn't pass the Turing Test :-), you should have some
fun using it. Download the zip file and extract to a directory
called 'chat'. Then run h2c from the command line :
C:\>
h2c shankar.dat
Shankar.dat
is an 'indianised' dat file; you can also use harry.dat in
its place... and you could even edit these .dat files using
MS-Word to put your own comments in ! Have fun!
NB.
All details regarding the developer of the h2c software are
held within the zip file.
